Well, I don't care about you lot.....which of course is why I am here!
Been away for a couple of days back to "the mainland" and I am, quite amazed at so many of the posts on here.
Yes, the league has tightened up, it has become more interesting and all the comments about City being boring, as the media tried to find something to write about and produce headline when you were "running away with it" have gone.
I look at it as a return to 18/19 season, which complete bias aside has to be about one of the most exciting leagues ever (Arsenal supporters in '89 may disagree and the ultimate Aguerooooooooo). Set up for neck and neck until the end of the season. Two teams hopefully bringing the best out of each other and producing great football and memories. City & Liverpool by far the best teams in the league and the game at the Etihad being the one that will perhaps decide it.
You still have a point lead, you have home advantage and as you lot are so fond of reminding, you have alot more experience of actually winning things in the last 10-15 years. So i really do not see where so much of the negativity or doubt is coming from.
As someone else said, your times of dropping points have not been down to lack of effort or lethargy, they have been down to bad luck, decision and teams busting a gut to match you. Whereas, from my POV I see Liverpool often lacking drive and speed and making stupid errors. OK, we are on a good run at present, but over the last few years, your good runs ahve always seemed o last longer than ours.
...It's the hope that gets you!
