Was in the corporate section at the City Ground today (not individual boxes, but behind glass in the Trent End) and the guy sat to my left was a scouser. He never let on, even when they scored, but his accent gave the game away. Clocked him before the game started. He was actually a nice fellah. He was actually relatively balanced for the most part. Was also respectful of where he was.

He assumed I was a Forest fan, which is fair enough as I was cheering them on with gusto.

And then Zinckernagel missed that chance he said to me “he’d have scored that against any other team”.

Errr, on what fucking basis?

What is it about supporters of that club that makes them so deluded that they genuinely believe their club/team is oh so special and different? Even the ones who are ostensibly reasonable.

It’s a collective illness to which there is no known cure. They are completely fucked in the head.

And fucking weird.

Psychosis.

Religious undertones driven by the baying press pack. A wish for simpler times, a chance to cling onto the past while simultaneously fearing the future. Evil v Good, white values v Muslim beliefs. A social geopolitical war played out on Tv screens. None of its real.

What’s real is inflation
What’s real is rising fuel costs
What’s real is rising electricity costs

Keep the masses tied up in knots and focused on trivial matters while we continue to screw you from any way possible.

What was the question again? Lol

Oh yea dipper holier than tho cunts ;)
Panem et circenses

I think pressure will get to these bastards eventually. The BBC spoke of their quadruple yesterday and talk sport have just said the same in the news bulletin.

This will continue in the run up to our games against them. Pep hated it when he was pressed on the prospect. Klopp and his ridiculous teeth won’t be able to keep a lid on his outbursts when asked about it. Pressure and our ability to deal with winning multiple trophies will seal their, and our fate.

Cannot wait.

Alexander-Arnold end please.

This is a problem I’ve long had with United and Liverpool fans. The belief that their club is somehow more special and romantic than any others, almost pre-ordained to be the best. They’re the two most sanctimonious fan bases in the country, by some distance.
Both sets of fans are similar in so many ways. Two cheeks of the same arse is so apt when it comes to these two clubs.

The media are complicit with it all n’all. Right up the arses of both clubs. The funniest one was when they were marketing a game between them at Old Trafford a few years ago as England’s El Classico when they were 7th and 8th in the league in the Spring. Desperate stuff from the media but it’s also the way both sets of fans behave n’all; away with the fairies, heads in the clouds. The rest of the country were laughing at them, especially the 6 teams above them.

The truth is neither club have had more than a few decades where they were very successful and the rest of their history has been mundane. No club in England is that much more successful than the rest. 20 league titles isn’t that many really, and it’d only take other clubs to have a good few decades like both of them had to catch up. It’s not like we’re all chasing Celtic and Rangers or Nacional and Peñarol where it would take a century to catch up.

But the way both sets of fans, both clubs, and the media act and portray them both is as if both clubs have always been top clubs winning 50+ league titles each while the rest of England are insignificant.

You can see with Liverpool’s slogan the other year “This Means More” how deluded they are. The club believes it, the fans are like a cult and believe it, the media are proper sycophantically weird and also believe it and also push it.

It’s why both clubs draw in so many sad twats from here there and anywhere to “support” them. A load of losers who have no pride in where they come from so support a club from miles away to get some reflected glory in their lives and feel better about themselves. It’s why so many of their fans act like spoilt brats and can’t take it when they lose or go years without trophies. They’ve been drawn in by this myth that these two clubs are special and are always winning things yet both clubs have gone decades without winning the title in the past and they can’t handle it when they aren’t winning. They’ve been sold on a myth and don’t understand it’s a myth.

Considering heysel was condemned at the start of the season as the cinder blocks it was made out of was crumbling and could literally be pulled apart .....

Also massive fk up by the local police to put the Italians in the same zone as the scousers
But the point stands, no other English or European team has caused the death of anyone inside a football stadium anywhere in Europe.
If they hadn't attacked the Juve the wall would not have been an issue.
The area you are referring to was a neutral zone. European football authorities perhaps stupidly, thought adults would behave in a civilised way. Sadly they forgot Dippers are a different breed.

We only hate them more now because they are a very good team and competing for the same trophies! It’s football if it were Arsenal we would think the same.
Not for me. I have a special long-standing hatred of all things dipper; it wouldn't matter to me if they were challenging for trophies or not, I just cannot stomach Liverpudlians as a whole and Klipperty has turned their club into one of the most detestable in the history of world football.

At this point, I've only read 'two cheeks of the same arse' and given this post a like.

Now I'm off to read the rest of it ;)
