Regarding organic growth done the right way by a proper club, wasn't st John the most expensive signing of the old 2nd Division and one of highest transfers in Europe at the time? Pools money obviously trump's oil money, as does vulture capitalist hedge funds!

Ok, let's get this straight.
The dippers should be 7 (SEVEN) points behind City.
Why?
1) Milner should have seen red at Anfield, and if he had, they wouldn't have scored their 2nd goal as he wouldn't have been able to make the assist.
City win 2-1 3pts.

2) In the match at ours, Sterlings' goal should have stood as it wasn't a clear and obvious error by the on pitch officials.
City win 3-2 3pts.

So if City fail to win the Premier League it's because of really poor (bent?) officiating in those key matches.

City are clearly the better team.
We have played the whole season without an out and out striker, yet are only 1 goal difference behind them having won a game more too!

So, it's Chelsea for the F.A.Cup and City for the other 2 big trophies for my money.

The piss is being brought gently to the boil...

Spurs have to give this a go now, or they will likely be five points behind arsenal at the end of the day. They cant fold like they usually do.

Agreed.

And although I wouldn't put the house on a Spurs victory, unlike Newcastle, Spurs have two players who know where the goal is.

5 points, shirley? The two games you reference, we got a point in each of them. If, as you say, we would have won them, that's an extra two points gained per game. 2 x 2 = 4. Added to the one point we're currently ahead of them, that makes 5.

Unless I'm missing something.

They have the Spurs game but also Southampton away after the cup final which will hopefully go to extra time. Saints will have had ten days rest, might increase their chances of getting something (surely).

You mean the Southampton who’ve been a feeder club for the dippers for years? Turning up and actually trying to beat them ??
