Like I said this is Liverpool at its best. No midfield play. The ball played to the front three as soon as possible. Nothing wrong with this but it will not work without those front three . And it will not work if you have a midfield player demanding the ball. Thats why klopp doesn't do the cup's. It is the players that makes the system not the system. Salah and Mane out of this team and Sterling and Mahrez in and they dont make topp 4 .That is not my saying that Sterling and Mahrez are bad players its just Salah and Mane are made for Liverpool system no other players in the world would fit better into Klopp system.
And to proof my point Liverpool has scored 28 goals in PL and CL Salah, Mane and Firminho have scored 22 of them .
We heard this at Dortmund too. After each superstar left, media and Bayern fans would say Klopp could never replace them. But he did. Kagawa, Götze, Lewa were replaced by completely different player types. Kagawa->Reus, Götze->Miki, Lewa->Auba.

His way of coaching is about finding a way to use different player types the best way rather than forcing people in to a strict system.

When Salah arrived at Liverpool he was not a typical Klopp wide attacker. In Germany, most people thought he would be a flop since he didn't have the directness, the defensive work rate nor the pass'n'run type of play that Klopp had preferred in the past.

He did but that was Dortmund he hasn't at Liverpool and I don't think he will

Liverpool's team is getting a bit oldish: only Robertson, TAA and Fabinho from the firm starters are younger than 29. The rest are or will be 30+ next year.

This means that they still can put in top performances and have nice winning runs, but it's not very likely that they'll have enough consistency over 8-9 months to win big things, especially the league.

This season, Liverpool are not doing much more than they did at the start of last season. Remember, they won 7:0 at Palace shortly before Christmas and were regarded as firm favourites to win the league even without VVD. Wouldn't be surprised to see them struggle December, January, February...

Mané and Salah going for ACON as well

I thought l was historically challenged.
Klopp can rabbit on about money for players but his club either wasted a lot of money in the recent past on the 'survey' or else some strange accounting was done.
For how much their fans bang on about us 'getting off on a technicality' (which is bullshit) with the UEFA/CAS case.. they're often all unaware of this little bit of accounting sleight of hand

A classic example of 'none so blind as those that will not see.'
