Also failed FFP twice and wrote off £50 million in their accounts against "consultancy fees" for a stadium that was never built.
Saved from administration by a loan from RBS that was publically owned at the time.

Their logic is all the wrong way around.
Constantly moaning about City when they earn more money than we do. City haven’t spent a penny of the Sheikh’s money for nearly a decade and haven’t spent a net spend more than the TV revenue each season since 2013.
Liverpool earnt around £140m from TV revenue this season alone and have earnt £1.45bn in total revenue in the last 3 years, yet spent a net spend of £11.5m in the last transfer window and constantly moan about City’s spending.
What a bunch of deluded idiots their fanbase is!

I had one at work last year saying this shit when Allison scored that header that won the game at West Brom, “That sort of thing only happens at clubs like Liverpool and United**. There’s something special about clubs like ours where the magic just happens”!
I said “Christ mate, you’re not one of those Liverpool fans are you? That sort of thing happens at loads of clubs, look at Jimmy Glass at Carlisle”… he didn’t know what I meant, he’d never heard of Jimmy Glass and probably thought ‘Carlisle have a football team? I just thought it was full of Liverpool fans!’
(** and what is it with this Liverpool and United reach-around love-in between the two clubs all the time these days? They talk about each other as one entity at times when comparing themselves to City. Anyone would think that rivalry they pretend to have with each other was fucking made up out of thin air!)

I'm not a regular visitor but I do occasionally like to feel their pain over on RAWK... The two posts below illustrate how the dippers are in a bubble and really do have a weird view on the game... The Milner comment is ironic considering that many of us blues didn't want him to leave and the post that suggests their PL title was the most miraculous event in PL history is laughable... There are loads more where these came from if you want a laugh

This is the way I see it.
City had a really tough start to the season.
Played Dips, chavs, spuds and rags all away and goons at home.
If there was a conspiracy, it's right there, with the P/L trying to create a 'title race' by giving City the most difficult start possible hoping that we would drop a lot of points making it easier for other clubs to build a head of steam and keep us back. That worked well didn't it?!
So now we are in a position where we have played our most difficult games (barring gooners away) and should have a steady run in to another title, fingers crossed.

That these melts who moan about FFP slaps-on-the-wrist for City actually did something themselves that should have had the perpetrators ('Pool) doing prison time but got off with a 1M fine?
