This is just the same deluded nonsense people got angry about when we were accused of it last year, and it's pathetic how unaware of the hypocrisy you seem to be.

He got a midweek fixture off. Great.

Now he's got to play 4 games in 10 days the week after next, and they've lost their home advantage in the second leg of the league cup for ET and penalties, and his AFCON players are still going to be away, and he's had half a dozen players out quarantining not training during the "week off" - on top of the 3 days the training ground was closed.

There is literally no difference between your arguments and the pathetic arguments of Liverpool fans last season upset when our Everton game was postponed that were widely ridiculed on here. None.

OK.

Are you telling us Klopp and Liverpool couldn't have put a team out against Arsenal, regardless if it was made up of 1st team, squad, and youth players? They did it today against Shrewsbury at 'Anfield'.

Except we're now being told that all but one of their positives were false.

So you think there’s no advantage in having a week off after the festive fixtures - the most intensive period of games in the season - and approaching the semi-final after playing a second string against Shrewsbury at home rather than playing his full team away at Chelsea?

Also you should note that I didn’t actually say anything regarding the potential for conspiracy, just pointed out that there is an advantage regarding the scheduling, which there clearly is. Nothing ‘deluded’ or ‘pathetic’ about that.

Cheats!

If Senegal doesn't advance, Mane is done on 18/1 and leg 2 of the semi is 20/1. Is that enough time to recover? I don't know.

IMO there is exactly 0% chance Sadio Mané plays his last game in Cameroon at 6pm (so he'd finish at 9) on the 18th, jump on a plane for an 8 hour flight, get to the UK at 7am on the 19that the absolute earliest and then play on the 20th in a semi final.

Also Senegal are one of the favourites so it's really unlikely anyway.

why would Klopp admit it now? Are their players who got a false positive who are now going play against Arsenal and/or Brentford that wouldn't have before?

He probably said it because it is what happened and it's frustrating for him that 5 players isolated for a week for no reason and the fixture congestion is now getting really bad for them.

No one is getting back on the pitch any sooner, there's no benefit to liverpool from telling the world they were false positives instead of real ones.

No, there's no benefit from having 4 days extra rest when the training ground is shut for 3 of them, 5 players have to isolate for a week, and the game has to be replayed in an even more congested period.

4 games in 10 days - 2 of them semi-finals and 2 of them absolutely must win Premier League games is going to absolutely destroy them.

Apart from breaking the news themselves before somebody else did.

And who is going to break that personal medical news that only Liverpool know?

Who else would even give a fuck? This is not the first time it's happened. Madrid had the same thing happen to them 2 weeks ago. I would be surprised if every club hasn't had a few false positives by now given the amount of tests that have been done over the last 18 months.

It's just more conspiracy nonsense bullshit from the usual posters who think everything is a conspiracy. Every referee is biased against City, and supports Liverpool/United/whichever team we're playing this week and will never let us win (despite the fact we win 90% of games). The league won't let us win the league back to back (until we win it back to back, then the league won't let us win 3 in a row), the league won't let United fail (despite them failing for 10 years) , every club who does better than City is on PEDs (despite us being one of the highest pressing and fittest sides in the world).

If we had got a game postponed, and then revealed it was all a big mistake, all that criticism we got would have been justified.

It's just not believable.

The chances of that number of false positives in such a short period among a small group is ridiculously small. It fucking stinks.
