Mr Michael 'boring' Owen
Mohamed Salah's options would be going "sideways to Manchester City or down anywhere else" if he left Liverpool, says ex-Reds striker Michael Owen.

Sideways eh, 1 title in 30 odd years or City.

Sideways . . sideFukinWayz . . Sideways from liverpoo to Manchester City?

On what planet could that be sideways?

If there is such a planet then it’ll have a weird vertical version of what the rest of the solar system recognises as sideways because City are the most successful Premier League club of the last decade, are current PL Champions and also current PL leaders.

In what way could a player leaving those nobs to take a job at Man City be anything other than an obvious to all case of betterment, not same same, not even nearly same same, but actually and demonstrably a step up the ladder in career terms?

A couple of days ago the MUEN carried a story about injuries to two Liverpool players which would possibly rule them out of the game against City. One of those players was Salah. But on ESPN today he helped Egypt beat Senegal. If he was injured for Liverpool than surely Klopp will be really angry that he played for his national team. Or was the journalist just cutting and pasting items to produce a column so he could keep his job????

Can you imagine? The former city of culture would collapse in on itself!

Of course, it will never happen. But it'd be great to see the cultists' outrage at such a blasphemous suggestion!

Honestly, for footballing reasons-wise, I'd love to take him.

Plus the amount of piss it would boil on that side. The moment he pens a deal with us, I can imagine some of them Dippers tell us they are a better squad without him, or how Salah is finished.

The thing is, when he leaves the scouse he will be finished, Klub Shop will have run him into the ground soon enough.

Aldridge will probably repeat his stupid Sterling comment when he said the Dippers wouldnt miss him because they had Jordan Ibe , if we get Salah he will announce they wont miss him because they Harvey Elliot or some other unproven waster.

Salah is a genius!
He will now sign a new dipper contract on the highest wage in their history while at the same time convincing them he picked them over us
1 we wouldn’t sign him now as he is selfish and past his peak - still a top player Though
2 dippers wouldn’t sell him so he would have another year to run his contract doen
3 we wouldn’t want to deal with them anyway

Honestly can’t see dippers recovering once mane, salah and van dijk are done. jota, konate and Dias Are decent but the hype is too big
They barely beat forest last week
Salah and mane at times is like them having five up front. Take them out and they drop significantly. Do that across the season and they drop off a lot

Don't be so harsh on yourself, Dias will be back stronger next season!

All you need to know about why they get an easy ride from the media can be summed up by the day that journalist Patrick Barclay has had on twitter today. This morning he put out a list of players he thought could be selected as player of the year this season. He accidentally missed Salah off the list and despite adding him pretty quickly afterwards he's still, nearly 9 hours later, fending off pretty vitriolic attacks from the cult where he's been accused of pretty much everything under the sun

Fucking spineless cunts.

i just don't understand why liverpool was not punished on their own or even kicked out of football for good
39 people losing their lives is a major disaster. today it would be punished correctly and liverpool would be kicked out of all major leagues and titles and cups ripped out of the record books
Money, money, money.

One thing with Liverpool supporters they never stop believing for 31 years that is was there year so they were right in the end!

Totally opposite to our fans who never get to cocky.
Well, our fans knew, just knew, we would blow it in the end. And then we didn't.......we started to win stuff and not fuck up. More astonished than cocky!
