On the positive....thats their best 11 today,and given all the huge factors it didnt really steamroller us as it should have done.

Circumstance,and odd personnel/tactics,did for us today,but lets get one thing straight.....the Tramps are massively overrated and our best 11 is on a different level.

Hopefully....come the end of the season,we have something to show for that.

There’s nothing wrong with playing long balls. We deploy it n’all a lot more than people take notice of ourselves. Don’t know where this notion comes from that long ball football is shit football. It’s what makes football, and especially English football, so good - there are teams that play differently to to each other. And it’s all great.

It’s not like Liverpool play aimless hoof balls up like it’s in random hope that it lands in their favour, there’s a skilful purpose to it and they do it very well. And so do we.

The long ball goals are really great to watch - Yaya to Negredo, Silva to Dzeko, KDB to Sterling (Arsenal) etc.

Don't dismiss Palace, hard team to play against.

No coincidence that they ended up twice this week turning decisive leads into narrow wins. Anyone who manages to frustrate that initial onslaught will be able to get a result I think, just sad it wasn't us.
