They’ll be our biggest challengers for the foreseeable future. Anyone expecting a significant drop off from them in the next couple of seasons will probably be disappointed. You’d hope the arrival of Haaland tips the scales further in our favour though.

Yep. A team that scores 99 without a striker and wins the league is a team to be feared. Looking forward to next season scousers :) xx

On one hand I was bricking it when we went 2-0 down, not because we have the right to win every year but because the thought of Liverpool doing the quad would be unbearable. I would have left the country!
On the other they will keep pushing us which has to be a good thing and also fair play to Klopp who seemed very generous with his congratulations - something I never thought I'd see. (still don't want them to get the treble mind)

Putting aside the media hype arround them, fair plays to Liverpool for pushing us to the final day. You cannot argue that they are not a very good football side, they are the second best team in the land, but they are that by a fair margin. Would City be as good as they are with Klopps Liverpool pushing us, I very much doubt it. Klopp was also gracious in defeat.

Yeah, I always want Klopp gracious in defeat.

Liverpool have been immense in the Premier League this season. However, I think things will be different next season. It's possible that a couple of their key players will move on and they may start deviating back to the mean. We shall see. Come on City!

I think they'll stick around for a while. They've not had their winning squad rebuild yet though and although they have started to bring in players like Konate and Diaz we have yet to see how they perform without VvD and Mane/Salah around. I'd expect the 23/24 season to be key to see how Klopp can manage that transition.

Pep has had to manage big players leaving pretty much every summer since he's been here and I think we don't quite realise how small our squad is. To play a season with no left back or striker, injuries in defence and to finish with most goals scored and joint least conceded is outrageous. I'd say our first 11 is better and Liverpools squad is deeper but we have yet to see how Klopp manages losing some of his star players.

No doubt Klopp and Pep are the two best managers in the league and I think they push each other and are incredibly driven. The hunger and desire that Pep keeps in this team is unbelievable and something we have yet to see Liverpool duplicate in back to back seasons.

Klopp is a good manager to be fair and they have plenty of money to spend (strange how this is never mentioned) so I don't think they'll fall off completely, but if they lose Salah and/or Mane they'll take a step back
Agree. Theyre well drilled/coached. they will still beat most teams but salah and mane might be off and theyll struggle to replace them. Then add henderson, van dick, firmino and thiago are going to need managing more. They have quite the overhaul coming up and i cant see their owner stumping up much.

I remember you said that about united

I think Theres a lot of mutual repsect between pep and klopp. Pep is quick to credit klopp with pushing him to be better every season. So thanks Bingo you goofy twat.

Agreed, aging midfield as well. They'll need to be smart in the transfer market so hopefully other clubs will be proactive and update the password for their scouting databases
