They obviously have vast experience with shifting the blame but they don't seem to realise their tried and tested tactics don't really work in this day and age when there's cameras everywhere and the entire world has already seen the truth online before they can even set the victim narrative up.

They're right on one thing though, calling for an investigation. UEFA need to investigate thoroughly and throw the book at the feral scum. Without the police using tear gas to disperse the crowd, there's every chance that ends up fatal.

It is ironic that their fans say they can't believe other fans believe the statements put out by the French authorities and UEFA about what happened last night. Yet LFC fans are the ones who swallowed UEFA's false allegations about City and FFP hook line and sinker and their club pushed to have us thrown out of Europe....even before our evidence had been heard. Like all City fans I have learned not to believe a single word made by UEFA officials. But I am consistent in that approach so I don't believe anything they have said about ticketing or last night's chaos either.

I lived in Spain nigh on 12 years and the Guardia Civil had a fearsome reputation. In time we realised that they were not there to smash your face in but to actually defend you, no matter what nationally you were. I have alot of respect for them. If you step out of line then you best get ready for the consequences.

Exactly this. I lived in Paris for 4 years and came away with a similar opinion.

We're just used to the soft touch. Far more beneficial here to take money off you for parking on a double yellow than do something about the soaring violent crime rate.

SAme here. We see the videos of lfc fans trying to get in or to buy fake tickets.... No ACTUAL footage of being teargassed.... And all those reporters there too??! With Camera's.

Maybe some of it true what the lfc fans are saying but the more I hear and see it looks like a media whitewash in the name of clickbait lfc fans.
