That's a pretty shitty thing to say about goalkeepers. No wonder so many of them get annoyed with the shite talked by non-goalies. Wonder if he'd say that about Alisson if he had a good game. I know Pickford's saved our arses plenty of times this season.

As someone who has played GK all his life in mostly recreational football and has always been a big fan of the position, im sick of the disrespect they get.

If Courtois has the absolute game of his life, it can't be that he was the best player but rather it must be that something is "wrong".

It feeds into a specific casual perception of football and that people can only pay attention to on-ball attacking players (go look at the last 10 to 15 Ballon D'Or winners) and in turn you have a lot of people who don't really know what they're watching if it's not a player with the ball at feet.

I hate their style of play, I hate their fans, the self entitlement, the shithousing at the end of games, the celebration of having won 14 European Cups, most of which were won with a striker that the Spanish government stopped Barca from signing while playing against teams fielding plumbers and accountants.


But I'd rather them over Liverpool every day.

No Sun= big gap in market. Only caveat being you have to play to their tune forever because being cult like, word gets round and you can go from 200,000 sales a day to none very quickly.

Yes he's 30, but only just turned, he's never injured, looks after himself outside the season....he'd go on till hes 34....for only £40mil, I just can't see the Dippers getting anyone near as good

They are going to have to spend a fortune (not their style) or risk going backwards......love it

Liverpool's squad planning looks fine to me. Konate has come in and become 1st choice partner to VVD at 23, Alexander-Arnold is 23, Elliot (21) and Jones (19) are getting loads of game time, Dias and Jota are 25, they just bought the Fulham kid who's 19 and meant to be excellent.

Their time as competitors at the top level will end when Klopp goes.
