Anyway, back to the football. If Mane does indeed leave this summer, I think that could be a big blow for them unless they find an adequate replacement which won't be easy, partly because Southampton don't appear to have too many gems of Mane's quality these days ;) I was wondering whether Diaz is their Mane replacement though and will they try and muddle through by playing the likes of Mini-me (or whatever he's called) a lot more next season?
Klopp will replace him.

Bowen would be good,as would Nkunku.

So the bastards are off the hook and Uefa can't screw a euro out of anybody? It's a sad day for football when those two things occur simultaneously! Mind, Uefa will undoubtedly make up any financial shortfall by stinging us for not tipping our caps to any Uefa 'fonctionaire' who turns up at The Etihad next season.
They might get them for stuff inside, but it won’t really get to the heart of the matter.

This is what Ian Byrne a labour MP said on Sky News this morning ( He was 17 at the time of Hillsbrough) and was talking about saturday night.

His statement infuriated me so much that I kept rewinding it so you Blues can read the whole thing.

''As someone who was at hillsbrough back in 1989 it brought back so many terrible memories lookin back,im sure many that were there experienced that same flashback, it was just awful policin' stewardin' extremely hostile atmosphere from the get go, you know I think we've got to remember this is the premiere football occasion in Europe and to treat football fans like animals which is what they did is unforgivable.''

Now let me do that again with a few alterations.

''As someone who was at the Heysel stadium back in 1985 it brought back so many terrible memories lookin back,im sure many that were there experienced that same flashback, it was just awful policin' stewardin' extremely hostile atmosphere from the get go, you know I think we've got to remember this is the premiere football occasion in Europe and to treat football fans like animals which is what liverpool fans did is unforgivable.''

Did I read it right....Mane off for maybe less than £40mil

Amazing news, think Mane is literally world class and such an important player for them

Yes he's 30, but only just turned, he's never injured, looks after himself outside the season....he'd go on till hes 34....for only £40mil, I just can't see the Dippers getting anyone near as good

They are going to have to spend a fortune (not their style) or risk going backwards......love it
Net spend trophy will be going out of the window if they only get £40m for Mane and Salah walks out for nothing next year or they’re forced to sell him cheap because he won’t sign a new contract.

Lfc have been good entertainment this year. I think their best ever...

Quad squad to forgettables
Slippy g
Sterling
Beating them by a point

So many good times. This year the best. Almost as entertaining as utds twattery
We beat them by two points. Another point and they would have still come second.

I think the first thing from Klopp is fine to be honest. No doubt many City fans went to Porto without tickets just for the experience and to support the Club. Many more would have gone to Paris without tickets if we had got past RM.

But what spitty said was just stupid, but he's not the sharpest tool in the box as we all know.
If Klopp had done even the smallest amount of research on dipper behaviour abroad, I would hope he would have thought twice before making such a call.

How Sky continue to employ Spitty is beyond me

I'm gonna tune in to Simon Jordan at 10am to see if the bellend who claims he's not afraid to tell the truth and isn't worried who he upsets in the process, sticks to his word or will he shit out like the rest of the media and blame the french authorities and local scrotes

I was in Porto and there were plenty of City fans without tickets. The difference being that they didn't go to the ground with forged tickets or to force their way in

If Diaz is their Mane replacement then they won't be challenging next year

Hopefully we'll now see the inevitable Liverpool decline.
