And you have some/many bell-end media people (hi Kaveh) saying they didn't see any fakes... well of course you didn't becuase you didn't examine any tickets close enough!

Had a great pub roast for wife's bday and grand daughters boy friend who is a dipper (but a reasonable and measured one) said he'd been offered and seen loads of fake tickets. He estimated there were 80000 dippers all over Paris.
So this is clearly a factor in what went on.

Look at the date printed in the middle, the text on the fake is spread out more. On the fake the end of the date lines up with the end of the 2022 above it. On the real on it doesn't. Plus the font on the real one is thicker on the Liverpool vs medrid text

Plus the width of the purple flame to the right of the trophy. I would assume the ticket checkers had a copy of the real one for comparison.
But the scouser fans knew better they were dodgy although they still insist they weren't.
Our media are testicularly challenged over this whole episode.
