Personally, I don't want them getting a big fish, just so we can call out double standards.

Firstly, the Dippers have no standards (see revisionism on Heysel)

Secondly, we don't want them having access to serious wedge.

Of course they will attract a buyer, but it won't be a country or wealth fund. Liverpool have demanded the fit and proper persons test be tightened up.

Any buyer would see they also need to go big on funds. With the interest rates the way they are, can only see it coming from America.
