If FSG sell to the middle east we'll just get told repeatedly that Liverpool can't help who owns them and all they can do is try to support the club. They tried to protest but didn't have any power.

The fuckers can rot, I'd rather they stayed with good hard-working clean American businessmen from the wonderful US of A where not a dime of money is made in a bad way. And that they struggle to compete financially and rot.

Reading that thread, there are several other similar comments to what he/she posted as well. They're so deluded that they actually think City and Newcastle have never received any criticism about our respective owners, yet they'll get shit loads if they get an owner from that part of the world. When the reality is completely the opposite - the media brown-nosing for Liverpool will ensure that they escape any meaningful criticism

So, FSG looked at Klopp's presentation of his plan on how he's going to get them back to winning the PL again, and gone... "sod that matey" (albeit in a US accent).. I would back our owners/management to go toe to toe with anyone.

If Liverpool are bought by someone who invests just as much as Mansour has, that's fine by me, and it will be fucking hilarious to see the manager, players, fans and media backtrack as fast as possible about all their previous statements about unlimited wealth meaning achievements are meaningless.

Then there's the other possibility, they get bought by someone worse than FSG, which is funny because 8th might look like a great place in the table for them.
