The linesman just pulled his arm away after he was grabbed, didn't he? It looks way worse than everyone is making out. Or is my anti-scouse bias showing?
It’s exactly how I see it. But the media won’t. It sells. And the linesman will be banned on public opinion created by the press.

I agree with Roy Keane. Robertson is acting like a cry baby. Insult and intimidate the linesman, but you can’t take one?

Don’t care for Robertson (In the main though the Liverpool players don’t seem a bad lot. None of the gamesmanship on the level of Arsenal)

But whilst I don’t want or think the linesman should lose his job it was a daft thing to do. However irritating the player is just walk off the pitch.

I don't think even Celtic would have VvD back now. Konate struggled to cope with ineptitude of him and Arnold.

Is the correct answer. Robertson grabbed at the lino who then tried to shrug him off, nothing more. The fact that Robertson was still on his feet and able to moan about it tells you that there was very little in it as usually, any thought of contact, he would hit the grass.

Retrospective red card for Robertson for trying to touch up an official.

Agree he stayed on his feet so clearly dodnt touch him. If a fellow member of the pfa union touch he would be rolling around trying to get the player sent off.
