I can sleep at night. Because I work hard, pay my taxes, and earn the comforts, however slight, such a life affords me. I don't house my family in palaces with other people's money, I don't consider my family better than others because God told me their blood is worthier, and, last time I checked, I was bound to obey the law.

Not really, because it doesn't address your seemingly most important point, which is the one I was addressing, about his family being built on ill-gotten gains, presumably of empire if I understood you right. So you are ignoring the fact that your family also benefitted from those ill-gotten gains. I am perfectly happy to admit that my family benefitted to a limited extent, I just don't feel guilty about it at all, so personally I don't have a problem with monarchy on that score.

I’ve said for a while that part of our problems this year will be down to players falling out of love with the game because they’ve been cheated out of titles. Who could blame them?

Must be trying to outdo each other over there in coming up with the most outrageous excuse for their drop-off in form compared to last season. That excuse is a new one even on us, and it doesn’t really stand up to scrutiny because while we battered them the other week, they still managed to turn up and beat us at Anfield in October then promptly reverted to type by losing to Forest the following week!
