l..and expected to chase a quadruple, a high bar that he himself created last season.
HTF did he create a high bar last season? By winning 2 penalty shoot outs??? FFS!

For any RAWK lurkers.

You mad f*ckers.

From the last page of the RAWK City thread.

Swiss Ramble is really good at presenting the finances but he does so in a very unquestioning way. I always wince when he refers to Man City's revenue as it's so ludicrous. He must surely know it's entirely fictitious but I don't think he sees himself as an investigator.

The way Haaland is managed seems ready made for the sportswashers and probably by design. His dad is clued up enough to know that, without massive rule changes, those clubs should dominate for the entirety of Erling's career and the biggest challenge they face is giving the illusion of the accounts adding up. Perfect then for the majority of the costs for the transfer to be opaque and open to being reported however the buying club likes. That, and the Haaland's becoming obscenely rich.

Note to the mad f*ckers.

City’s transfers and accounts are audited every season by UEFA(FFP) and the PL. Explain that one away you deluded, irrational, and clueless f*ckers!
Every other post in that City thread should have the mods on that pathetic site saying “Citation Needed”.

The fucking lies represented as fact on there makes that website the biggest laughing stock in football.

Wonder if they’re going to start their home campaign with a minute’s silence for those who they killed at Heysel like they fucking should every fucking season and like they do on the nearest home game to the Hillsborough anniversary?

FAT CHANCE!

The rug they sweep Heysel under is bigger than the Shankly Gates.

Buying up streets near their ground for a proposed stadium expansion that never happened just so they could circumvent FFP tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about that rancid club.

If City declare a transfer fee in or out that is fictitious are they saying that the buying or selling clubs just break the law and go along with it?
Presumably Arsenal never paid £45m for Jesus and Dortmund received way more than £51m for Haaland but both clubs just put it on their accounts to play along with City's cheating

They probably think everyone’s in on it because of their Scouse victimhood mentality.

If we pay a lot, we are ruining football and the fee is believed.
If we pay little, we are ruining football with underhand and shady deals - the fee is not believed.
I agree with them that their fanbase is truly unique.

Klopp's situation right now.
Thiago out for 6 weeks..Jota 6 weeks...Konate 3 weeks..Curits 2 weeks...Carvalho and Elliott inexperienced...Got Nunez, but had to lose a legend in Sadio Mane..Doesn't have the money to sign Jude Bellingham..outbid for Aurelien Tchouameni...City even stronger with Haaland, Phillips and Alvarez...Massively improved Tottenham..No replacement for Origi, Minamino and Neco..relies on 37 year old Milner as midfield substitute..No chances of further signings this transfer window...Winter World cup which will make the season longer and more stressful..and expected to chase a quadruple, a high bar that he himself created last season.
It is really hard to be in Jurgen Klopp's shoes...but if anyone can walk in them, it's him..that's why he's the best in the world..the Godfather of Mentality Giants.

Amazing stuff. Hard luck injuries - nothing to do with Klopp flogging the players into the ground and making them all more prone to muscle fatigue and subsequent time in the treatment room. He flogs the team into the ground and last season will take its toll. They'll fall flat this season as the intensity inevitably drops then they'll be back at it next time around. The reason Pep is so much better is that it's a sustainable style of play. Klopp's might win you one off games and it will always be effective in cup competitions, but it can't be sustained. Our keep ball, conserve energy, possession dominance can keep us performing year after year which is why Pep has such faith in it.
