Let's be honest, most of the north has been treated like shite by the South (or more accurately the Establishment) for many years. The city of Liverpool isn't unique. And as I think I saw in a post just now from PB, why don't Everton fans boo the anthem?.....far more of their supporters have a Liverpool postcode!!

My husband doesn't believe in any of that. He's a scouser born and bred but he never holds to that "Scouse not English". In fact, he always says to me "Where is Liverpool, then? What country is it in, for fuck's sake? We're English!"
