Have to say the whole Gabriel/Henderson thing is perhaps a sad reflection on society in general.
Their is the image from this , in the fact that an allegation has been made and then seemingly discarded, that nothing is done when unacceptable language is used.
But then you can have the view that this is just an, all so "woke" storm in a tea cup.
And why? Partly because we dont even know what is alleged to have been said, the language issue in translation and cultural norms.
The fact that it is also solely one persons word against anothers obviously doesnt help.
But.....why have the FA/PL not taken the opportunity to actually do something pro-active about this?
Why not get both parties together, make a statement, a press conference, highlight the issue once again, demonstrate that its something that is taken seriously no matter what. That all allegations will rightly be investigated.
But then, when have the FA/PL ever done anythign that was sensible or transparent to the general football fan.
