Na, there is a time and a place to express views. Today wasn't it.

It's a bit like not liking a family member, and then choosing to be a total dick to them at their wedding.
Did he really sign up for the queen? or to see the world, learn a trade have a laugh, protect mates? just a genuine question i think all the above aside from queenie is fair. I mean tbh they wouldn't put your dad out f he was on fire tbh, his mates would. Maybe he would have ran around protected an unelected extremely wealthy lady but then again maybe not
What a dick of a reply.

Freedom of holding and anti-royal banner up on the KOP, and the stewards and the club allowing it.

How did those loveable Kopites sneak that banner into the ground?

Whilst in London, anti-royal protesters were arrested for doing something similar.

Klopp would say that wouldn’t, being the leader of the cult.

Oh look, an Irish flag.

Please fuck off and make your club and City part of Ireland.
Looks like an Indian flag to me, there's a symbol on the white stripe.

The illusion of truth effect is so strong with that club, they genuinely believe that Liverpool has been treated worse than anywhere else in the UK and that they are different. Boo if you want but I reckon most have just jumped on a bandwagon and don't have a scooby. Their players looked embarrassed.
I thought that too. Players like henderson and alison, klopp, must have been embarrassed at what they're seeing, they must be realising now why lfc cant win the PL, or at least why its so difficult. Their fans just ruin it for the club.

That's another good point, which is about not offending those who have a different view. I'm sure there were many in that crowd who really don't have a problem with the Royal Family or are even supporters of the Monarchy.

But as we know all too well, the Anfield cult feel that THEY have the right to tell us all how we should feel.
Which is the key thing about free speech - I may have the right to say something but it doesn't mean I should.

I don't believe in gods, main difference is I don't believe in any of them, rather than just the traditional Zeus, Odin etc. But I wouldn't feel is was right of me to stand outside a funeral telling a family there is no heaven if that was bringing them comfort.

And that's why I wouldn't sing about victims (or Munich) as, despite what I might think those songs are trying to say, they can cause offence. I'm not bothered about the corporate offence or of offending people who became fans a few years ago, but I wouldn't want to offend the families of those that died or were injured, despite how much I may despise the clubs and many of their fans.

Let's nail this once and for all. You can argue about monarchies versus republics, Brexit versus Remain, capitalism versus Marxism, hell - even barm versus muffin.

But that should never stop us hating the scousers for one moment.
It's fair to point out that the scousers apparently aren't taking aim at King Charles. They boo because they suffered uniquely (!) at the hands of Margaret Thatcher 40 years ago. The South was apparently complicit. The South Yorkshire police handled the disaster at Hillsborough unfairly and so on which adds up to booing the national anthem BECAUSE it's a NATIONAL anthem. Actually they're booing you, and me and everyone else because of perceived offences against Merseyside. They ARE scouse not English. Well, they can glory in their corrupt council - I'm Mancunian, English and British and proud of it because there's a lot to be proud of. And what a relief it would be if Liverpool could just float away (apart from Everton) to some scouse paradise so they leave our nations alone.

If I dust off my ‘Not my Team’ placard and get down to Sir Matt Glazer Way I am arguably inviting a slap because my right to free speech should be balanced against an awareness that there is
time and a place to exercise free speech .

Reading the Runes. People who think he's a **** seem to be in the minority and the party will be judged after forming the next government.

Back on Topic.

I can't wait to see their Thursday night cup adventures.
They may get their wish and next year we don't find time to sing certain songs - because we are too busy belting out: "Oh, what a night......."

Almost a certainty now, 8 points ahead of Villa with 3 to play, they've cheated their way into Europe again.

I'd rather the rags get 4th than this shower of shit, there I have said it :)
I'd rather see the league permanently reduced to 3 CL spots than see either of them get into the champions league. After all if we finish 4th we're hardly going to win the fucker the following season.

I agree but within this framework I would just prefer the rags to the ferals.
