Why? The Premier League has done that to all the other European leagues for years now.
The Saudi’s will know in a couple of years if their league will properly take off or not.

I'm not sure how a Saudi team can join the champions league but I guess money talks.
The question is what can they do? EUFA do not control Saudi clubs or FA.Joking apart the authorities need to do something, if they can.
