A couple of years ago I really thought that Fabinho was up there with Fernandinho as the best CDM in the league. sadly the last 2 seasons I think he has been a liability and so any money for him now is a bonus.I'm a bit confused that they don't seem more upset about Fabinho going. I have it on good authority that he's the "best defensive midfielder in the Premier League" and he's still only 29. Yet they all seem fairly happy to let him go for just 40 million, when most of the best defensive midfielders play well into their 30s.
Sorry, but had to make a slight amendment pal ;-).And for my 1000th post i thought I should come out of hiding from the Off Topic section

I think Klopp has high hopes for Bajcetic, which is a bit risky pinning hopes on one so young. especially as we don't know how well he will come back from his injury. Doubt it will happen, but would be nice if Phillips would come to us. the hope being that he would want game time as it looks unlikely that he will get ahead of Rodri.
Sensible stuff said....now for
It means more you know!
In my opinion, nothing to support this statement, he abandoned his own morals when he "slipped" against us costing his team the match and the title.A quick blimp over there and apart from a few diehards the usual mental gymnastics to gloss over their hero abandoning his own morals
