Personally think they will be very strong next season and will finish above Arsenal. Whether they have enough to beat us remains to be seen, depends how many more players leave from either side.
Nah, it's the scouse all you can eat buffetBins ? I think that's the entrance points !
Much prefer Liverpool's potential midfield (if they add a defensive player) vs. Odegaard, Havertz and Rice.Personally think they will be very strong next season and will finish above Arsenal. I always thought it a bit strange that they have such high moral values - yet they live in a city that developed so much due to profits gained from the slave tradeThe cult have a real challenge now in spinning the Saudi situation to maintain their self declared ‘special’ moral superiority. They have constantly voiced their disgust at oil money and sport washing for years. Now legends like Fowler and Gerrard have taken the money, whilst current leading players like Firmino, Henderson and Fabhino are going as well. Presumably FC Sanctimony will be donating all petro dollar transfer fees to local food banks, rather than keeping the dirty oil money.
Who says thats the default Arsenal midfield? Arteta could just as easily go Partey, Rice, OdegaardMuch prefer Liverpool's potential midfield (if they add a defensive player) vs. Odegaard, Havertz and Rice.
Not convinced klopp has a clear vision of what he wants his midfield to do. It's all based around the pace and effectiveness of the front three and a solid defence. Both of which were lacking for most of last season and no ammount of midfield signings will sort it. Also don't think klopp is able to adapt and come up with a new system like pep.Much prefer Liverpool's potential midfield (if they add a defensive player) vs. Odegaard, Havertz and Rice.
Doubt Stoke on has a full season in him to play in midfieldWill be our biggest threat to the title this season I believe. Trent in midfield (like Stones) will put them on another level going forward and they've almost sorted their midfield out, whilst getting rid of the deadwood. All they really need is a Gvardiol type figure at the back to replace VVD when he declines.
Also Diaz and Jota back in business this season, with Gakpo and Nunez to improve.
They'll be there or there abouts. Anyone who thinks United or Newcastle will finish above them, is being far too optimistic.
