We usually agree on many things - but brilliant? He was at Liverpool with some excellent players and they spent huge.
The style of play was hardly revolutionary? His main attribute was motivation (hatred inspired), I'll concede that - but technically - not brilliant at all.
I'm not saying he is brilliant (other than from a Liverpool perspective). I'm saying that if he was City boss, City fans would be hailing him a hero just as much as the scousers are.
Personally, I think he's a better coach than most opposition fans give him credit for. He built Dortmund into a formidable side, and Liverpool were average without him, and that's what they're destined to be when he's gone.
He'll be missed by the PL, and Pep.
