I don't get this "he'll be missed" take - why? - Comes over as a sore losing, excuse making, bully to me. As I say - his expertise is solely "motivation". Never an innovator, or pioneer. He may well be viewed as being a runner up to Pep - and leading the chasing managerial pack, but that ignores the absolute chasm in drop off from Pep to him. Sky are doing their best to draw parallels - but in reality there are none.

He made Liverpool competitive again. That, in turn, gave Pep a genuine challenge to take on.
Pep knows that Klopp pushed him more than anyone else.

RIP. Thoughts and prayers etc.

Oh no - wait.

Man resigns.

Though he'd pegged-it when I tuned in to the BBC news earlier.

On top of that.. his only league title was won during a pandemic and at a time when, if memory serves me correctly Peps mother sadly died towards the latter part of that season. So it’s hardly any wonder Pep and the team were fully focused.
Don't think many teams were focused.
Boris let it continue because he didn't want the dippers crying for justice for the next 30 yrs

Another better from the rawk cult....
