I haven't read the previous 100+ pages of gloating obviously but I guess I am perhaps not the first to say that gloating might be something one might regret if/when Pep decides to hang up his boots here also. Of course we'd like Pep to stay forever but a similar announcement can surely not be that far away. Sadly.

Tramps not taking it well :)
Can't help thinking that this wouldn't be happening if he'd been managing us on a level playing field for the last 8 years.

The energy and effort to keep us competitive against the biggest cheats in the history of sport will have taken its toll - even on a mountain of a man like Jurgen. We'd have walked to several more titles, and he'd probably be here another 5 years if it wasn't for '115 Charges' FC and their bald fraud.

What the actual Fuck!

He's only ANNOUNCED he's going and we've got wall to wall scouse-grief updates on every news channel with some of the soppy soaks pleading for him to stay, some bloke who used to play as a sub when I was about 5 saying it's like a death in the family, and the media covering it in every minute detail!

What happens when he actually leaves?

What happens if, like me, you don't give a shit?
Laugh at them trying to shoehorn him into the conversation of best PL managers ever.

His impact was more than trophies and points tallies, apparently.

You can’t measure his impact in stats, either.

It’s fucking hilarious.

We are all aware that Peps time is likely to be coming to an end though. Every season from now is a bonus.
Klopp dropping a bombshell like this is a completely different scenario.

Plus, we don’t tend to be insufferable fucking babies who believe we are more important in the game than we are like those cunts.

I agree mate . Pep probably has one of two seasons with us but the structure of the club is set now for the future and whoever comes in will be successful.

Honestly, look at what thus cheerleader has won compared to Pep, Baconface, wenger and mourinho

They have gone so over the top it is actually laughable. Anyone who didn't think that the media in this country is not so far inserted in the rectums of the dippers and rags should now be fully aware

I know there's a lot of piss-taking in here on the subject but I imagine the reason for the resignation actually is having to compete with Pep for so long. It isn't just at Liverpool but they crossed paths in Germany as well.

Before Pep turned up in Germany his Dortmund side had won 2 of the last 3 Bundesliga titles and lost to Bayern in the CL final in 12/13.

In Pep's first season (13/14) they finished 19 points behind in 2nd Bayern and lost in the CL QF.

In Pep's second season (14/15) they finished 33 points behind Bayern in 7th(!) and only 11 ahead of the relegation zone.

Klopp resigned that year and rocked up to Liverpool in 15/16, only to be followed to England by Pep in 16/17.

In the 8 completed seasons at Liverpool he's managed to finish above Pep once, and finished a demoralisingly close 2nd on two other occasions.

His 22/23 Liverpool resembled his 14/15 Dortmund in a number of ways and I was actually surprised he didn't resign last year.

So in 9 completed seasons against Pep he's won 1 league title (Pep has won 7) and has seen his Dortmund team completely destroyed and his Liverpool team sputter to a turgid 5th last year.

Can you imagine what that has done to a man who is a genuinely very good manager?

Pep has absolutely destroyed him.

And isn't it beautiful.
On top of that.. his only league title was won during a pandemic and at a time when, if memory serves me correctly Peps mother sadly died towards the latter part of that season. So it’s hardly any wonder Pep and the team were fully focused.

Those saying it's a death in the family are probably after compo

You have just got to accept that the media is actually made up of whores with little credibility or integrity.
