Sam has some quite unique insights of the game tbf. Definitely has form for a bit of batshit opinion.
You can choose to be an optimist or a pessimist. Most of the time it has no effect on the outcome so.........

Doku was world class earlier in the season apparently.
We could go on & on & on......
Pains me to say it but i just think the kid at Liverpool looks a talent....we can't have all of talented kids about
If he is world class they'll burn him out like they did to Michael Owen.

Last night pretty much confirmed most football fans' thoughts about whether they are being assisted or not. In fact I believe most people anticipated it the moment Bingo announced his departure. Let him go out in a blaze of glory, etc.
That being the case the pressure on the dippers to win a trophy this season will be absolutely immense. No excuses, grass too short/long, witches curses or whatever batshit-crazy excuse the gurning one can invent to cover his failures.

It is absolutely imperative that the dippers end this season empty-handed.

Have a heart …

… let them have the League Cup

I agree with the op. Let's face it, even during a normal season, when we usually are the better team we get fcuked over every time there with biased officiating. What the Chavs endured last night is just the warm up act for our visit. The bias will be in complete overdrive by then to get Klopp his PL and 'quad' starting v Arse on Sunday.

I am a realist and unfortunately I only see this going one way. I would hope to be wrong, but hope gets you nowhere in the face of cartel 'istree club corruption and ☆ asthma suffering players....
I guess you didn’t bother with spurs on Friday either

I watched the Spurs game and was disgusted, but not surprised at tge refs officiating. We are reffed different. I didn't cheer Nathans goal as I expected it to be chalked off. I did have a feeling we would win but the closer it got to 90 mind I would happily have settled for a draw. Thankfully hoodoo broken, just gotta repeat in pl now!

If you were a realist you’d see that the team you support has won 5/6 leagues and the evidence shows we are the strongest team in Europe in general when it comes to the business end of the season.
Your interpretation of what a realist is doesn’t stick.
And out of those 6 seasons how many times have you seen us get a fair game at Anfield? Possibly in the Covid year and that's it.
How many goals have we had chalked off against them in the last decade for, frankly, absolutely nothing that can be linked to anything in the rule books.
That's realism.
Saying we won't get a fair game at Anfield isn't the same as saying we won't win the league, both facts can be true at the same time but when we have to score 2 or 3 goals to be awarded 1 suggests we have an uphill struggle to get three points off them.
