Salah's a great goal scorer, but the constant diving and theatrics will for me always cast a shadow over his achievements. I don't think I'm alone in this.

Always worth another showing this.
haven't they got Jota...Nunes is probably alright tbf..admittedly Salah's their best of course..but they have a squadIf Liverpool lose Salah for a few weeks then it will be interesting.
He absolutely uses everything in the locker to gain the advantage, but he's not alone in football.
Not what I like to see , and I don't believe most of our players cheat unlike others at other clubs.
But, putting that aside, he is the player in that forward line, the others are ok but nowhere near him for danger factor, effectiveness and scoring goals.
I think he did get it but was deep down very frustrated at what he was watching. You played us off the park first 20 odd...could have been a cricket score. We do have injuries for sure but I was hoping we would be a bit more pragmatic. From City's point of view, great to see Dias back, even when not fully fit he at least organises those around him. I'm amazed at how well McAllister is doing for you, great under Slott. I like Slott's style - again pragmatic when 1 up but knew that going for it early you'd probably get 1 or 2... I do think it's your year as you have a lot of options..getting Curtis Jones a run and also getting Dick Van Dyke to look a lot happier under Slott. As for us..i think Pep was thinking about finishing soon so he wasn't building for the future - just eking out last drops - PLUS (this makes many laugh) We have been about 13 - 14 in net spend league for some years = fear of charges of course - but leaves us with Lewis Nunes and Gundo (back on free) in a prem midfield. To me that's bottom half trio (now) at best. I didn't expect anything better over the weekend tbf - was quite happy to keep it at 2! That was my prediction but could never bet on us to lose! I think your games v Arsenal and Chelsea will be interesting. I like the way Chelsea counter but Jackson can't finish so that will save you there. You will beat Arsenal..Arteta's an emotional loon. Oh finally, Slott is much better than Klopp..Managers are meant to let the players shine..not try and get shiny teeth in every shot possible. Ego too big for me. As for Pep...why get rattled by a load of supporters you will never cross paths with..hmmm i have some theories lolWell....where to start and catch up with a few things.
A few pages back there was a back and forth about how good (or bad) Klopp was as opposed to Pep. As the pic in the post above shows, there is one answer to that and its down to silverware.
Klopp may have been decent in Germany but got burnt out trying to keep up with Bayern. He had his chances and did take the odd bit of silverware away from BM....pretty much in the same way that has transpired here.
He is good but was always striving to catch up with Pep/City. Without Pep/City beign as good as yourwere/are, then nobody would have looked at Klopp and thought he had done anything special.
Only as agood as the competition you face and City have been that benchmark for the past decade odd.
Now to today....."You havent played anyone decent yet"...was the refrain from many a fan/pundit for the last couple of weeks. I never thought I would say it, but I agree. But thats coz City were far from a decent team today.
I honestly didnt understand what I was watching from City at times. Opportunities to get to the byline and cross it spurned as you checked back, not taking shots when they were on. It all seemed very very odd....but so glad it was.
Seeing Gomez on the pitch and I expected Haaland up against him trying to bully him, balls into the box to try and isolate Gomez and yet it never happened. It wasnt until Doku came on that Trent really started to get tested, it all just seemed a little tame from City.
All in all totally happy with the result of course but I am still scratching my head as to how we are 9pts clear. I still maintain that we havent played really well in any game save for the Rag game and against Leverkusen, but I would rather be where we are now than anywhere else.
As to going forward, it means nothing until we get into May. heard on the radio that Arsenal were 8pts ahead of City in April and still lost it, so plenty of time for City/Arsenal or Chelsea to get back.
As for what seems to be the latest littkle thing that the media seem to be tryign to blow out of all proportion...the You're getting sacked in the morning...molehill. I actually thought it funny and enjoyed Pep's response to it, thinking he was taking it in good part and it being ludicrous to even consider that he would be sacked. I guess its all down to being lost in translation, that he didnt quite get the humour in it. More chance of a statue to him than the sack.
Roll on Wednesday and we shall see whether we get a slap in the chops to make us realise that its a long race.
now back to Blonde on Blonde
Also makes oppo defenders double up, drop deep . sht themselves re tackling...creates sooo much space for othersThey would be totally fucked without him and his goals.
He makes the difference to their forward line.
Thought he'd had an electric shock when his boot come off on Sunday.Salah's a great goal scorer, but the constant diving and theatrics will for me always cast a shadow over his achievements. I don't think I'm alone in this.
