I think the little cracks are starting to appear that indicate they won't be celebrating this time next year. At the moment this is Slot basically making Klopp's team into something slightly more organised and slightly less chaotic. This really worked at the start of the season, and they're good value for league winners, but it has been harder and harder for them to sustain this new style as the year has gone on. Salah and Van Dijk will be a year older next season and they've blown about £3-4m a month on keeping them around, which will harm any rebuild they wanted to do.

Now it remains to be seen whether Slot can build his own side instead of just adding tweaks to the team Klopp built. But for now they can have a big party because they've been miles more organised and sensible with their football than anyone else in the Premier League this season. And I'd have this Liverpool team winning the league over Arteta's thoroughly unlikeable Arsenal side any day. I don't mind Liverpool really - the coverage they get is a bit sycophantic but they've played nice football this past decade and having them go level with United for titles is a bonus.

Just realised Arsenal will have to give them a guard of honour at Anfield as well. The icing on the cake really.

Best side wins the league but they’ve been extremely lucky we fell off a cliff and Arsenal had important injuries. They basically had no competition and no pressure.

I love the fact that aside from them no one is arsed.

People may say the league is weaker, but the fact is lots of the mid-table teams/chasers to the top 4 are taking points regularly from the big boys this season.

Liverpool have pretty much weathered all the storms without breaking much sweat. Annoyingly I might add.

They still have a few ageing players so whether they build on from here remains to be seen. I don't think it will be a canter again next season.

Imo, those teams having been taking points because the 'big boys' as you call them, have had poor seasons. We have been bloody awful for large parts, Arsenal have been well below the last 2 seasons (in the league). Even the Dippers haven't imo been as good as they have been....virtually injury free and more consistent, helped by a great set of opening 10 or so fixtures, which they won 99% of, and fair play to them, they rolled on from there, stayed in front, and nobody put any pressure on them at all.
If City or Arsenal had been at the level of the last couple of seasons they would have comfortably finished above this seasons Dippers.

They never do anything fairly. If they had an iota of decency they would award a pl winners medal to David Coote for basically giving them a free pass ( as if one was ever needed for them) with all reffing decisions this season.

It's a bugger that Van Hyoe and the Egyptian Tom Daley have resigned, they get away with loads.
