Liverpool Thread | 2024/25

Our problems are very similar to Madrid, imho. Watching them last night without Militao, Carvahal, captain gone, Kroos gone and Modric on the edge, their two most dangerous players missing. The two best teams in the world 18 months ago both taking their eye off the ball.

I don’t think it’s taking their eye off the ball. It’s just sheer volume of games have caught up with the 2 teams that have played more football & maintained consistency whilst others have a year off every 2.

Bellingham & Mbappe is hardly taking your eye off the ball but if the injuries catch up your fucked.. peps words.

You could say the same with Guardiola in regards to the rebuilding comment. If he shows KDB, Bernardo, Gundogan, Stones, Walker & Ederson the door in the summer and has to rebuild the team it will be interesting to see what he does and if he even hangs around.

Well, this is a dumb take.

When, if you've ever known Guardiola career history, have you known him to quit on a job in contract? None as far as I know!!

So, yes, Guardiola will have to rebuild, all managers do when they have the core of the same team for multiple years; it's called age, wear and tear.

I think Guardiola will relish the challenge of new faces, youth and impetus. if he gets that, he may well extend further than where he is now, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

You could have guessed it - sure enough, on this morning's sports round up on BBC Radio Four: "Another of those European nights at Anfield last night.... " etc, etc.

Liverpool and Arsenal fans fighting it out.....on a Manchester City fans' forum.

We had an influx of Liverpool supporters on here back in 2020 when they won the league. They then vanished once title number one of four was won, very much fair weather with their giving it the big un when things are going well. Then vanish when it turns to shit.

Not sure exactly why @tunnel01 is posting on this forum , other than as yet another fucking attention seeking dipper supporter trying to be a clever **** - and failing as ever.

Should stick to RAWK and other such shit and stop infesting forums that couldn't actually give a fuck about their opinions .

imho of course.

Slott may well win it this year in fact multiple trophies, however if certain players leave rebuilding is when you find out how good he is.

Pep, having become manager of Barcelona in 2008, has proven experience rebuilding squads. Slott, Liverpool or arguably Feyenord being his first big club appointment, hasn't.
