Well put. Think people are finally realising we’ve been persecuted by all and sundry. Imagine the outrage on Rawk if the boot was on the other foot? They’d have been campaigning for compensation for defamation of character.
It would never have happened. It would be verging on commercial suicide to have run a sustained media campaign with the sole purpose of destroying a business if you are highly dependant on that business for a large slice of your revenues ie as much of the MSM is for liverpool and the rags.

not really when you look at his stats most of his seasons have been between 18 and 22 goals which dont get me wrong is consistent and good for a pl striker but not really a freakish season, his standout was 32 goals in 2017-18 season, he is a good player with the red media behind him which skews the narrative somewhat, bit like the myth that rashford is a 30 goal a season striker.
Sorry but he's way better than a "good player"

17/18: 32G + 10A
18/19: 22G + 8A
19/20: 19G + 10A
20/21: 22G + 5A
21/22: 23G + 19A
22/23: 19G + 12A
23/24: 18G + 10A

He basically hits 20 goals season in season out which for someone who doenst play as a #9 is unreal

Hes also 7th highest goalscorer in Prem history tied with Henry, and likely will surpass Henry, Lampard & potentially Aguero (9 ahead) by the end of the season

He's having a great season, he's not having a "freak season", because he's hit over 40 G/A in a season twice already in his 7 years

Is there a reason for this? I’m out of date on my info about these bastards
They’re having a good season beyond their best players all trying to leave at once
Only my own personal suspicion.
For some time, the title of our thread there was something like '115 charges for the scorched earth cheating bastards on and on the pitch.' In itself, that is a very clear statement, supported by the owners of the forum for a healthy period of time. Content within was absolutely defamatory and libellous. One wonders if the owner now feels some risk associated with written content about our team, against a backdrop of these 'soft signals' of our innocence. It may be nothing of the sort, but I would not be comfortable hosting that kind of content, and standing by it.

I don't think they have ever allowed registrations readily. Quite a few years ago when I and others were drumming up support for Anne Williams / Hillsborough campaign I tried to register and it was not possible. It's why you should always appreciate this forum for it's openness

I'll give credit to the dippers for capitalising on the other teams inconsistencies, but the truth is they've been handed this years title on a plate. Other seasons we would definitely reel them in, if we were about 9 points behind.

Sloth couldn't even have dreamed that we would fall off this badly. Then arsenal are feeling the effects of going toe to toe with City for 2 years and it's done their heads in. Chelsea are not there yet.

But this happens now and again when the main contenders either hit a wall or are in a transitional period and a team gets a pretty clear run at the title.

The dippers won't lose it from here simply because nobody else is capable of putting a big run together. Unless Arsenal suddenly find the form that made them big frontrunners the two previous seasons.
Agreed. But it’s bloody difficult to accept that we won’t be lifting that PL trophy this season. Got used to seeing us for the last few years - every time Sky introduces the PL. I think of us as the PL best team ever.

Can only imagine the coverage this years winners will get - dippers probably got their shirts printed :-)

Still - we’ll be back & maybe we’ll outshine every club anyway by winning the FA cup; CL & world club championship. Everyone wants to be the first to win that tournament & we are the current world champions

Milner actually had 3 yellow card fouls - the one on Foden which they show in the clip; a pullback for which he was carded; then the blatant trip on Bernardo. About 10 minutes later, Salah did score from a move started by a Milner pass.

That game was probably the most dominant I have seen us at a crowd-filled Anfield. They couldnt get near the ball in the 1H and we should have been at least 2 up at the break. Place was quieter than a library full of mutes. IIRC, Rodri also saved us in the dying seconds with a miracle block off Fabinho.
Tierney was the ref that day who refused to send off Judas yet Bingo claimed and his merry bunch of victims still claim that Tierney is against them.

Sounds reasonable but I’ve never know those bastards to do anything sensible at all ever

Funny how we aren't hearing the media banging the drum about a "boring" Premier League...What can we do to stop Manchester City dominating like this every year.

City have turned the Premier League into the Scottish League...That's what we get every season.

Now when the Dippers are running away with it that's complete fine and we'll all kiss their arse about how good they are this season.

When the announcement of dismissal of charges occurs, I hope @Ric has the mod team on speed dial with all leave cancelled, ready for the surge of new venomous users and the crawling out of the woodwork of longterm lurkers venting their outrage at the conclusion not being what they’ve been told/expecting/hoping for for the past decade

Would these recent actions prevent us from going after them if we wanted to?
