Well, yes. That would be the rational approach to him leaving, but this is the mindset of dipper supporters, don't forget.
Madrid is a city of culture: art, fine food and wine. There are places of architectural beauty and historical significance. Why would anyone want to leave the bleak, windswept, urban bomb site that is Liverpool? Why would they want to get away from the filth and the degradation of places like Toxteth and Norris Green? A land where teenage pregnancies are at an all time high, where the streets are awash with blood, syringes and burnt spoons, where making eye contact with another person would most likely see you in intensive care for a month?

I think the issue most have/had with Milner was not what he did but the way he did it, which was steeped in deceit.

It looks like Alexander-Arnold has been pretty straight with Liverpool about his intentions from where I’m stood.
