Liverpool Thread | 2024/25

Rumours that Liverpool players had to be separated from each other after the game with players turning on Alexander-Arnold and it being really tense in the changing room and things were heard being thrown from outside.

Could be completely made up, of course. And they might go on to get 100pts, but how funny would it be if they completely imploded now? Haha

I'm sure they'll hit a bad patch

Not sure how much it'll matter though. We are miles off it. Arsenal look like they've dropped off a bit since the last couple of seasons and Chelsea aren't strong enough to be consistent. Forest won't do a Leicester.

Too many teams will shit the bed at Anfield and the ref's will help out too. Can't see them losing it from here, even if they hit a rough patch.

arsenal of the two previous seasons would arguably win the league this season, I think that was a better team than this dippers team overall, but I think going toe to toe with us for 2 years has taken something out of them.

A crock but the dippers are already turning on Arnold, how dare he want to leave and join Madrid.

In saying that, is there a worse out and out defender in the PL than this guy, his defending is a total joke, I would even say present day Walker is a better defender.

It could destroy their title chances but they have lots of istory about turning on one of "their" own!

Robbie is] very much like Steve McManaman. Both...

They were never gonna win every single game from now until the end of the season ffs.

First 19 games 46 points, if they get the same in their next 19 games it would only be 92. If they'd have won today, that would have been 49 points, that again in their last 19 games would have been 98 points. So again, no they weren't on for 100 points lol
If they’d won today it would’ve ben 48 had they won their remaining 19 x 3 that 57 which is 105! You don’t know if they would’ve won all their games people said that about us but we did it. So currently IF they win they are in for 103., so again they are in fir over a 100, get a new calculator.

That result was gold dust yesterday.
Gives U***** false hope. (They’re 13th!!!)
Dents Scousers confidence.
Reveals to the rest of the league a system to play against the scousers that they struggle with. They will drop more points.
Gives hope to the top 6 that title is not completely gone.
Provides unrest in Scousers dressing room.
Helps to protect our centurions legacy.
Lets us fly beneath the radar, no pressure and let’s see what happens……..

Everybody can do the maths, it’s the wording. “On for” is short for “on target for”. As somebody pointed out, West Ham could get 77 points this season if they won all of their remaining games, but nobody would say they are “on for” 77 points. So Liverpool aren’t “on for” 103 points. They could get to 103 points. They won’t (and aren’t on target for that) but they could theoretically.

Well obviously he couldn’t do the maths as they were all wrong, I said if they’d won today win they’d be on 105, now it’s 103, they are more “on” for it than West Ham ffs! I’m not saying they are going to do it but they are more than capable seeing as how bad the league is this year.

That's not "on track" though is it

Becuase they aren't going to win 19 straight

Are West Ham on track for top 4? They could finish on 77 points
Ha ha massive difference between those two teams, the scousers have lost 1 match in all competitions, if that was us people would say we could win the quadruple go unbeaten etc, they currently are the best of a bad bunch, do I think they’ll do it, no, because if they pull ahead they will rest players for a push for CL and FA cup so will lose points then, are they capable, absolutely barring injuries why couldn’t they?
