The level to which the cult members delude themselves is staggering.
We all see the bias they get from officials, but, despite the extra added time they were given, their victimhood mentality means that they are absolutely convincing themselves that they are being harshly treated by all refs and VAR.

Some rawk examples:

"It'll get lost in the shitness of our performance, but that was arguably VARs worst ever penalty decision that ultimately did us in."

"Robbed by a bent ref. 2 pens the story of the game"

"Refereeing was shite. That penalty was a complete joke, doubly when you see the one we didn't get first half"

Oh - and they are turning on Slot big time!!! Entitled twats
The amount of headed sitters that Brentford missed, is obviously no indication that Liverpool deserved to win...and were just unlucky on penalties...

I wouldn't write the Red Scouse Filth off just yet.. once they get 'Doddri' established as their defensive midfield mainstay, they could well turn this bad patch of four consecutive league defeats* around..

(* Oh, how I loved writing that! I'm going to do it again - four consecutive league defeats! and again - four consecu..)

Villa up next, onSaturday evening.

If both teams play like they have this weekend, it will be a fifth consecutive defeat for Littlewoods.

Totally agree. Villa looked pretty good yesterday. Well set up and followed Emery's instructions.
Those goals from Kerkez & Salah hide the fact that they were perhaps the 2 players who underperformed most during the whole game.
Some tough decisions need to be taken by Slot or Arsenal will be too far away to be caught.

Listen dont write these twats off yet they are more than capable of putting a winning run together
Of course they are. I don’t think they’ve played as poorly as we did against Spurs, second half against Brighton or at Villa yesterday.

They’ve just not got going yet this season but they could easily click at any point.

After Brighton I didn’t think we’d then go on a 9 game unbeaten run as we didn’t have a hint of having that in us at that point. Neither do these bastards at the moment but form is an easily changeable thing.

Their performance against Brentford was worse than anything from us this season, also their first half against Palace where they should've been easily 5 down.

Same as Pellers winning it with Mancini's team in 2014.
As has already been pointed out, that's not strictly true. But let's go along with your narrative for now. What has what Pellegrini did 11 years ago got to do with what Slot has achieved in the last 12 months? Also, if I'm not mistaken, this is the Liverpool thread. Without checking, I'd hazard a guess that there'll be threads about Pellegrini's time at City elsewhere on the forum.

Lampard came in the year after when we dropped off and Chelsea won the league quite comfortably.

I didn't say he had the best start, but I take your point that Lampard was bought in 2014 and didn't have an immediate effect.

However Pellers bought a total of 23 players (You don't buy 23 players and not make it your own side) and won the league with mostly his own side.

I don’t think he bought 23 players in his first summer did he? The signings important for the 2013/14 title win were Negredo, Fernandinho and MDM. Most of the other players were a big part of the 2012 team.

Unfortunately we weren’t great after his first season and we got worse the longer he was at the club.
