They need to put in the the rule ducking and the ball going over your head in an offside position is interfering with play and is ofside full stop, because you read the actual rules in writing it’s wishy washy you can interpret it in a way you could allow it! Then you get Liverpool now crying writing letters to PGMOL and Slott binging the game into disrepute with him mentioning a video he looked at straight after the game when we had a goal allowed with the same referee so indirectly he is calling a referee a cheat! Liverpool get away with this shit to many times!

I must say that I think the drop-off in Salah's displays has been nothing short of astonishing. Van Dijk isn't a big surprise but I didn't see it coming from Salah so soon as I felt he still had a good 2 or 3 years left in him. It might just be a form thing rather than his legs going but it was interesting to see how little impact he had on Sunday. Again, some of that will be down to how well marshalled he was but even when you can largely keep a lid on him, in the past he's invariably popped up at some point during the game to score a goal.

Players legs tend to go at 33. Our only player to go beyond that age at a good level was Fernandinho. The rest declined quite badly at 33.

Liverpool have always spent big, under Klopp they like to style themselves as some plucky underdogs surviving off recruiting players for free they scouted on the park in Bootle.

They conveniently like to forget they spent big on the likes of Allison, Van Dijk, Darwin Nunes etc. you look back before that and the likes of Andy Carroll, Torres, Robbie Keane. Gerrard Houllier managed to spend £11 million on Emile Heskey all the way back in the year 2000. Not to mention the obsession with buying half of the Senegal 2002 World Cup squad. You can go back even further to when they broke the British transfer record for Stan Collymore.

2 league titles in 30 odd years for all the spending they have done tells us as a football club most of the time they don’t get their transfer activity right. Here’s a crazy stat since the end of their dominance at the end of the 80s City have won more major trophies than Liverpool.

If we are talking apologies i want a few hundred off the dippers, i want an apology for klopps turkey teeth as they were offensive to look at, i want an apology for that accent as its nails down a chalkboard to anyone with the gift of hearing, i want an apology for the myth of klanfield and for everyone to acknowledge that its an aging shithole who pipes in music before the games and claims an atmosphere.

The drop off from Van Dijk has been steady and was noticeable from last season and possibly even before. But as you say, Salah’s performances have fallen off a cliff in a totally unexpected way. A bit like Kyle Walker last season.

It’s why it’s always better to feel you’re letting a player go a year too soon than to sign them on for another bumper contract in their 30’s. We timed the initial leaving of Gundogan well.. just look what we got when he came back a year later.

We’ve done well with the timings of letting Kompany, Silva, Sterling, Aguero and De Bruyne go.

Playground antics from spoiled children is the closest and most obvious analogy.

Say what you want about Roy Keane but I liked when he pulled up pundits, especially Micah, for making excuses for the dippers by pointing out they did play at home in Europe during the week and it's just down the road from Manchester

I've seen a few people making excuses for them about playing 3 games in a week.....

So did we!!!

It's true it's not easy playing that often but the excuse doesn't fly when it applies to both sides.

Just shows how impressive 4 in a row is, when you consider we did it while playing in the other competitions with a huge workload. Dippers won a league title 5 years ago and couldn't maintain it. They're current champions and on their arses.

Yet people wanna write off Pep and City for struggling last season for doing something 4 times in row that the dippers are completely fucked attempting to do twice.

The dippers are not on our level.
