Actually it has to be paid back over 3 years, so it'll take quite a bit more and affect their transfer budget for that time period.

Not that it matters anyway, they can't sign anyone decent if a CL club are in for them.
It's 5 years I believe so will take £25m a year out of their cash flow for that time, which is money they can't spend on players. So at a time they should be prioritising getting back into the top four, their owners are more worried about getting their money back. That's on top of a similar amount I think FSG have loaned them which has never been converted to equity as far as I know. As soon as that stand is built, they'll be looking at selling up before the bubble bursts.

Without a doubt, Tottenham are a bigger club than City. Villa are a bigger club than City.

The only City fans I meet are a) wear City shirts as a fashion statement, cause they're pretty and blue b) jumped on the footy wagon because it's the cool thing to do now (a la the Sheik) c) glory hunters that started following 3/4 years ago

When ever a City 'supporter' shows up at my pub, he gets the weirdest looks, ironically, even from Chelsea supporters.

they really are a weird bunch, i remember reading somewhere of how City had the most long term season ticket holders in the Prem, as for glory hunting fans liverpool win hands down.

Surprising how poorly supported we are, and yet they all seem to know plenty of City fans.
It's just childish stereotyping. A quick look in the history books of the all time best supported English football clubs will tell them all they need to know.

That said, we're not the biggest supported club in the world, or even the country, so what? We never claim to be, and it's not a goal we have. I wouldn't dream of claiming City are a bigger club than Bury - what does it matter? If our club is so dire, it shows our supporters didn't take the easy option.

Probably do, the Irish sea is in the way. The pool fans over here got up my nose in 2014 but they're nice and quiet now. Unlike the rags.
Nah, they were obnoxious before 2014 and they're even worse now.
They see nothing in football except through the prism of the ever diminishing sideshow of their rivalry with the other shower.
Fuck them. I'm loving that they hate us so much. It's helluva lot more palatable than the days when they'd patronise us with "I hope your lot do us a favour in the derby next week..."

Our kit is pretty and blue. The rest of the post is a load of shite.

My take on this is that I would rather have a ton of diamonds rather than ten tons of shit.
