They're a team full of players more bothered about maintaining a trendy hair cut. Giroud the biggest culprit.
Cazorla is bloody awful too. Sideways and backwards, stupid hair and strange body shape.
They'll be the usual heap of crap again this year. They may even win the FA Cup. Who cares? (Sad but true)

I'd LOVE us to win the FA Cup again, you speak for yourself pal.

Ridiculously good attacking midfielders, I think Ozil will kick on this season and be one of the top players in the league.

Defensively, I'm not convinced. An injury to Coquelin and they're in trouble IMO. I still think they need a top CB to partner Koscielny aswell, I don't think Mertesacker or Gabriel are good enough to be regulars in a title winning team.

I say this every season, and eventually I'm going to be wrong, but the Arsenal squad, collectively and individually, don't have the stomach or the mental strength to win the league.

I look at their back four of Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Monreal and it just isn't a title winning back four.

Compare that defence to Chelsea's. It's nowhere near and Chelsea are the benchmark.

I predict Arsenal will start well, be considered title challengers by the end of November, at or near the top of the table. In fact, come November, it will be pointed out repeatedly that they have the "most points in the league this calendar year"

Then they'll run through some rough waters mid-December and January that will kill any title talk.

But since they are very mentally strong, they will definitely storm back and go on a title-winning form--and will undoubtedly finish 3rd. An amazing feat by the very poor club who are strapped by resources, but in that finish, they'll be showing everyone how to play football the right way and with class.

Brilliant.

Someone at work said the Benteke deal was 15m gauranteed and the other 17m as add ons.

Surely that is ludicrous? Why have a release clause if there are conditions that are most likely not going to be met.

I told him it has to be spin to make he 32m not look so bad but he was convinced. Poor guy's a Liverpool fan.

Pretty sure it's all guaranteed. Just paid in installments over the next couple of years.

Even if in installments that gives Villa 23m to replace Delph and Benteke in 30 days. Unless the release clause allowed for this it seems unlikely.
