It's funny listening to Liverpool fans talking about money spent and yet they have been one of the biggest spenders in recent years....apparently 250 to 300 million. I think it is called having a blind spot where money spent is concerned.
A blind spot we couldn't possibly have because the rag, Scouse, Cockney fucktards in the media keep ramming it down our throats.
They had the money for Suarez and Sterling and they've bought much inferior players. OK, they were never going to buy players quite that good so they needed a coach who could get the best out of what they had. Unfortunately they had Bodgers, who talks a good fight but struggles to get a grip on reality.

I can see them thinking that City's spending stops them becoming champions.

But it doesn't explain how they got stuffed 0-3 at home by West Ham, does it? Their being shit has nothing to do with anything we've done. We're just a convenient scapegoat.

i think Liverpool look ok this season, the 0-3 aside. i think if Arse, Utd and Chelsea continue to be erratic then liverpool have a chance at top 4 but their squad is very very thin. also rodgers is a whopper.

Depends on Sturridge's form and fitness and whether they play Lucas. They're trying to copy our style with two forward thinking centre mids but with woeful centre halves, it'll end in tears.

perhaps, there's a long way to go and a full repertoire of Rodgers based cliches to unfurl yet.

can another side, such as swansea or everton, really challenge this season? or will the top 4 just revert to type by xmas?

I don't see it tbh. I see ourselves, Arsenal and Chelsea as dead certs for top 4 despite the latter twos indifferent start to the season. I'm pretty sure the rags or dippers will outlast the lower sides by hook or by crook. Everton have the best chance imo despite Swansea's start but their squad is so thin I can only see it happening if liverpool and the rags go deep into Europe and that needs the rags to finish third in their group.

LOL. Spion Kop 1906 is the LFC equivalent of our 1894 Group but it seems that tourists have been complaining about people waving flags on the Kop (pre-match) and blocking their view. So, in their infinite wisdom, the geniuses than run Liverpool are proposing to set up a register for anyone wanting to wave a flag. They are going to have to sign that register, submit any flag for inspection and wear ID to show they have permission to wave a flag.

I am not making this up.
