Incandescent scouse rage everywhere, i thought they were happy he is gone and they got a solid fee.
Could it be they are not really happy at ikkle city snapping up their best player.

In the end you got your player, Sterling gets his $$$ and ambition, and Liverpool get our $$$ (even if it's 35M it's still a good chunk). Now onus is on Sterling to perform, and also on us to replace properly pretty much.

I don't get the anger at your club, if anything you've been extremely classy about this, I can't remember such a high profile transfer saga where the team in the hunt wasn't always in the papers talking/unsettling the other player. If it would have been Barcelona, Xavi would have been in the papers every day saying how he'd love to play with the player. If it was Chelsea, Mourinho would've kept talking about not talking about Sterling, etc.

What is wrong with you superseiyan? You surely can't be an actual Liverpool fan?

All clubs have nutters of course. Just seems like Liverpool have twice as many as the rest put together. But you seem like a nice and sensible lad at least.

We probably would have said something in the press, but couldn't find a journalist who wasn't already interviewing a former Liverpool player with something negative to say about Sterling!

Liverpool are a selling club, the same way the likes of Tottenham and Everton are.

Every time one of the clubs get a top player, a bigger club comes in and signs them.

Torres, Alonso, Mascherano, Suarez and Sterling were all Liverpool's best player when they left for a club who were winning more trophies.

When was the last time ourselves, Chelsea or United sold their best player? Even Arsenal seem to be in the group now that they've paid off their stadium.

We couldn't go and sign Arsenal's best player Sanchez or Chelsea's best player Hazard, but we could go and sign Liverpool, Tottenham or Everton's best player.

This is Liverpool's Suez Crisis moment where reality finally hits that they're no longer a Superpower.
Like Britain in the early '50s they still believed they were a top player in the game even though they'd ceased to be a while ago.
If we go on and buy Pogba and De Bruyne their misery will be complete: "he wasn't even their top target ... ."
