Liverpool v City - post match thread

First half there was only Sergio and Silva that wasn't performing aside from the usual dismal Otamendi performance. Individually, they were all doing ok, but it was obvious to see the formation was completely and utterly wrong from the kick off. it was a ticking timebomb as to when we'd concede by carrying on with that formation yet pellegrini just sat there in his seat and did absolutely nothing until the game was lost. Predicted at halftime what he would do and how it would pan out for us, unfortunately he was true to form and did exactly that. If a nobody like me can predict his every move then just think how easy it is for experienced managers to do it, the top clubs love playing against us this season with him in charge. I said it a month or so ago but even the tactical turtle at the swamp is getting more out of his players than pellegrini is here.

Thought we would win tonight, but it was a game too far. We've lost 3 consecutive, but big, games in the premier league for the first time in ages, but, we will turn it round. Not too much damage done save for the shite catching up behind us, but, there's a definite 9 points out of 9 available in the next 3 games. Top teams to play each other. Not Easter yet, so still all to play for as, imho, all the top 3 are now wobbling. Just need a bit of bloody momentum! Keep the faith guys.

Domestically we have failed to win in 5 games, losing 4.
3 PL losses
1 FA Cup loss
And a draw in the COC Final.

The good news is that De Bruyne is now our stand out midfielder. We've relied on Yaya and Silva for so long but we finally have a midfielder who is fit to carry us forward. Shame he is injured because we fucking need him now
