Liverpool v City - post match thread

Rudderless, clueless and gutless, the last word being the sum part of our season.Too many not up for the fight, how many 50/50 balls do we lose? I don't see any other team in this league move the ball as slowly as we do and all of them work harder than us.We have spunked 50 million on two centre backs that are absolutely atrocious,a schoolboy makes less mistakes than they do. If i heard that tired shite again I will crack up! the dippers played on Thursday and also the same number of minutes as we did on Sunday, did they look tired?? Thankfully they didn't play like that on Sunday or we would have no trophy now.

A massive clear out is needed at the end of the season and considering the money we have spent this season is a scandal, some of our scouts should be sent to bloody Siberia as well!

It is frightening how far we have fallen and how weak physically and mentally we are now. A trophy and maybe qualifying for the quarter finals of the champions league isn't going to mask just how bad we have been!!

Leicester is proving this season that its not about expensive transfers. So much more important to create a good system that helps the players and that can only come from the manager. After that players need to have huge workrate and great attitude. These are the basics. After this players skills/quality comes in...

We have more taleted, more quality, more expensive players than the rest, but the workrate, attitude or even a good system, clever gameplan is missing in so many of our games its crazy. Teams found us out, they know what to do against us, they even upgraded it from earning an easy draw against us to ripping us apart with ease like both Pool league games, Leicester loss at home, Spurs loss, Stoke loss ...
And Pellegrini is watching it from close. He has no ideas how to turn it around. Whatever ideas he had he had them in his first season, teams were getting used to that last season already, we tried to bring in KDB, Sterling, Otamendi hoping it will help us, well did it help? The problems were the gameplan, tactics, system, way we play, mentality, attitude, workrate. Signings aint gonna solve that.
So its the managers fault that the players lack workrate. Do you have any ideas how to make them work harder? Pay them more? Give them more time off? I'm intrigued.

Seriously you are telling him to take it easy after that abject performance. All this shit about recovering from Sunday, they are athletes for fu*ks sake, how were the dippers able to still genganpress after Sunday and leave us in their wake. Complete shambles and I can't separate the manager or the players from that performance
Because they hadn't walloped a team in the Ukraine and played Chelsea the week before? And yes I know most of the team didn't play that game.
Shit happens. But three days ago we won a league cup in a high stakes game v the team who were better than us tonight. Shit happens. It also so happens we have a trophy over that same team who beat us. I bet I know which victory I Liverpool would've preferred out of the two. Bonus for us we get to push on and add another title to that triply we won three days ago, whereas Liverpool don't.

To the Liverpool, klopp and world is over thread on RAWK.

Where's those happy fuckers telling us everything is amazing?
Those who don't complain about City performing like that are celebrating their victory over Watford.
Those who care about City are fuming. I should have saved the fifty-two quid.

Mancini won an FA Cup and a PL. I'll love him forever for it despite him sometimes getting it wrong. His successor has won two LC's and a PL, two of which were in his first season. He's on course for achieving a second title and more outlandish, a CL.

Oh and if he doesn't do that he's got us further In that comp than any other manager prior.

What a shit manager we have.

If you can not see that we are going backwards under Pellegrini then I don't know what to say. Every part of the 1st team squad is in a far worse state now than it was when he came.

We concede far more goals, we do not score as many, we get beat off any decent team, our home record is shocking, there is no plan or tactics. How many times have we let in 3 or more goals under Pellegrini? His record against the top teams is truly abysmal.

Yes he won a double but lets honest here, he had the best squad in the country and a defensive system in place which was put together by Mancini. He has systematically tore all that apart to the point where we are getting embarrassed at home by average teams. As for the Chumps league, he has had 2 comparatively easy groups in comparison to what we previously had and he nearly blew that last year. How many top teams did we play to win the Carling cup?

I do not blame him wholly, Txiki Begiristain needs to take a large part of the blame.

Was hoping for a draw tonight but we got what we deserved, to lethargic.

I can accept us not winning the league, i am finding it hard to accept our league position with our resources though.
There is no excuse for players or manager here, all of them need to take the blame and whatever consequences come in summer.
We could still win it but that is irrelevant to me atm, we should not be 4th and slipping, not good enough, we deserve fuck all in the league this year.

Silva has dropped off a cliff for the past ten games, perhaps it's the fucking manager- judging by your moniker you can't see it.
So a professional footballer earning 200 thousand a week plays crap because of the manager? Hardly professional. Nothing wrong with my eyesight. Every one of them were awful as the score suggests.
