Liverpool v City - post match thread

Been there tonight and stoke away, dogshit performances, but slagging mp bit harsh, 3 trophies in 3 seasons, years ago would only dream of that, now we have reality and it hurts when we lose even more so when we're shite like tonight. Those that think pep is the answer, hmmmm i have my doubts, we shall see. CTID

Does it look to you like the players know the rivalry between our two Cities and whats at stake whenever a Manchester Club takes on a Liverpool Club?
What about last Sunday ? We totally outplayed that Liverpool side, and though it needed penalties in the end, it didn't look to me like they didn't understand the rivalry then, but perhaps Liverpool did.

So its the managers fault that the players lack workrate. Do you have any ideas how to make them work harder? Pay them more? Give them more time off? I'm intrigued.
Bench the surrender monkeys and put the kids in, at least we would put up a fight. I don't care who leaves this squad atm.

The same person who has helped bring on pep?

I've been on here 5 days and lurked about a month or two. I've seen thread after thread blaming everyone else for things or slating the team rather unnecessarily. Blues with huge post numbers slating other blues who don't share the so called majority view.

what a strange place this place is. Thankfully sure it doesn't represent the clubs following in general.

What has Pellegrini improved? Have you actually watched how poorly we have performed this season?

Pep is not even here yet. For all we know he might even stink the place out. Lets just deal with the issues of today rather than give someone credit for things that have not even happened yet.

How come LLana wasn't booked for his consistent aggression yet our defenders get the finger wagged at them for their first offence/

Can someone tell me which of those sides should have been flat because of Sunday?

The most annoying thing is the teams above all dropped points, but those behind us won and are now in a red-hot battle with us for 4th.

Maybe because it was a cup final? Wouldn't matter who we are playing, they were well up for it unlike tonight!

Nah I don't think you see it either, they were smashing into our players, overpowering us from the off, our players looked so far apart with and without the ball, the body language was all wrong.

If we had the passion, desire, commitment and drive like Leicester do, we'd walk this league.

Too many players on too much money. Why should they care? They'll be snuggling up to their supermodel girlfriends in their mansions now. Not their fault though. If clubs are daft enough to dish out 5 year contracts after 1 years hard work. Shameful.

Seriously you are telling him to take it easy after that abject performance. All this shit about recovering from Sunday, they are athletes for fu*ks sake, how were the dippers able to still genganpress after Sunday and leave us in their wake. Complete shambles and I can't separate the manager or the players from that performance

Perhaps if we had the best facilities in the world then we could recover quicker, oh wait..... WTF......
