Liverpool v City - post match thread

That was on the cards in the first 30 seconds when our leader plays a high crossfield pass which is intercepted. Then another minute later Mr T shits out of a challenge with Flanagan.

We are in free fall at the minute and everyone involved tonight should hang their heads in shame.

Silva needs dropping. Absolute joke how poor he his playing lately.

Fernando has one good game then turns back into Cattermole.

Mistakes ALL over the pitch. Simple mistakes as well. Ottamendi diving in, Zabba dwelling on the ball, Navas losing the ball time and time again. Where is the manager on the touchline screaming at them? We've given up on this season. 1 more loss and the battle for 4th is well and truly on.

We won't finish top four this year , the players have given up on the season.

Not many of them will be around for too much longer anyway.

Shocking. The strangest thing is we are still in it! Leicester have a big opportunity to pull away unless we turn it around in the next couple of weeks.

No they're not!

Look, we have a reasonably straight forward run in with the most winnable games. The major challenge will be Chelsea away, the rest we can do. Remember 2012? I know this is different, but no one is consistent this season. We have no FA cup to worry about, I reckon we will lose only one, draw one and win the rest to the end of the season. Like I say remember 2012 and how strongly we finish seasons these days!

Mate, we have been saying this turn the corner shit for the last fifteen games, if anybody thinks we will roll over teams like Norwich and Newcastle who are playing for there lives are deluded, we have some tough tough games coming up-we are playing relegation form football only relieved by playing half decent in the cups.

We are a fucking disgrace mate for the amount of money thrown at the squad .

,

Are you seriously comparing the shite we are playing now with even the worst game we had in both title winning seasons when we came from behind. Mate, we were losing the games back than at Sunderland after making 50 chances in the game, we barely make a chance in lot of games this season.

Pity our rivals both won. West Ham and fck turtle's army. Can we stop joking about that lot as long as we embarrass ourselves. Thank you.

He's our worst manager since Pearce and even then I'm not so sure. What a huge he mistake it was to keep him for another season.

What are the odds of finishing 5th?

Would it be bad to put a bet so that if we do it's not a total disaster for me?

Worst since the 3-0 at Spurs just before Hughes got the boot. Diabolical all over the park, need to focus on top 4 now.

Exactly what I said to my old man, eerily similar to that 3-0 drubbing at Spurs. The most disgraceful thing about the whole thing is that had we won, we would genuinely have been back in the title race..

From the first minute we looked a complete and utter mess. Cant wait until he goes.

Horrible performance by both manager and players. The two Liverpool league games together are just absolutely embarassing. 7-1 together and it could have been more really. We are talking about a mediocre side here. They did what they wanted to us in both league games.

3 league losses in a row, is that how we try to win the league? Kompany needs to keep a strong team talk, not to the media hunting this and that, but to his team mates. Likes of Silva, Kun failing to track back etc.

United and WHU winning, nw that was my worry for tonight, not Arse or Spurs dropping points.
