Both dropped points... so it doesn't really matter, all comes down to teamwork and how they perform on the day.

Spot on. However, I am still old school and worry about games v Liverpool. I know I shouldn't, but it's just habit.

No fella, just because man v man on paper you'd struggle to get any other of your players into our first choice side.

edit.....I'm obviously aware the game isn't played on paper yada yada, but you get my drift.

Someone did make the point further up that you have other decent players. Henderson is one of the most improved players in the last 12 months - I must say I really didn't rate him at all until this season. I had him down as a poor man's Jamie Redknapp but he's really come on. Coutinho's going to be important for you tomorrow - you really need him to have a great game to be in with a chance but I still get the impression he's learning his trade but isn't quite there yet. Let's face it though, you don't have anyone else who even comes close to Suarez.

No one ever said 1 man team, indeed (not on here) with the changes in management (City / Chelsea / Scum) at the start of the season I have said to people watch for Liverpool and Arsenal with settled teams, squads, ideas etc.

What I did was compare likely line ups on a like for like basis (your lot started it lol) and come to the conclusion man for man we are stronger.

As 2607 says its a team game and anything can happen on the day, Middlesboro beat us a few years back without having a single shot at goal all game, but player for player we are stronger IMO. This hopefully gives us the edge, but I could end up eating my words and losing my £20.

I wouldn't say you're a one man team but that that one man is the most influential player in the league, you could win a game based on his performance and contribution alone imo.

Similar to Spurs last season. I would guess that most Spurs fans would have trotted out the same ''not a one man team'' guff last season when Bale won them a boatload of points. Now he's gone, they're floundering in upper mid table. If the dippers don't get CL football next season (unlikely looking at the way they're playing at the moment), and Suarez pisses off, the same fate could well befall them.

You did well the games Saurez missed beginning of the season so don't think you are a 1 man team.. Here one for you do you think you will get top four or even challenge for the title without Saurez?
