WAY-HEY, the traditional boxing day footy-fest is about to begin. A day out boozing with the lads followed by a trip to watch the mighty Blues in a top of the table clash. Doesn't get much better.

3-1 City.

Looking forward to this one today. If we can keep the racist quiet then we should smash these all over. Let's hope we can keep our home form going and batter the dippers.

Chance Gerrard could make the bench but more likely held back for Chelsea.

Can't wait, really believe the gulf between the two teams will be there for all to see today.

And for that matter, the rest of the league.

Don't let me down, blues, I've been promising top of the league by the end of the month!

5-2

Count me in mate.

I have 100€ at stake with my office's coleagues, perfect French plastic-rags specimens ( yes, they are everywhere );
have bet we would win by at least a 3 goals margin and not conceiding more than 1.
Basicaly, i fancy us anihilating them 4-1.

Meh, still a loooong way to kick-off time !

confident we should do this today, although after fulham our defence is worrying me, just losing zab we lost our workhorse , although we still managed to put 4 past them and our away form has got better of late, well cudnt get much worse, haha.
if we play like we normally do at etihad we should blow them away, I be holding my breath everytime we tackle them in our box, due to a certain spring board champion

-- Thu Dec 26, 2013 11:11 am --

normally boxing day throws up some really fucked up results, not including ours hopefully

Is this physioroom website of any relevance? Looking at our own club, the site has a return date of 26th December for Zabba (late fitness test), Nastasic and the invisible man. I doubt if any of these would figure but I'd be delighted if they did.

Hope our class shines through today. We seem to be improving all the time and our home form is spectacular. Rodgers is trying to play a few mind games by talking us up, but that is water off a duck's back. We have a tremendous incentive to win the game and overtake them.

I know this is unpopular opinion, but I think he will play 4-4-2 with Ed and Alvaro up front again. Also hoping that the Clichy right back experiment is abandoned and that he slots Jimmy in there (assuming Zab is not fit).

3-1 City.

Can I just ask, where do you guys get the idea that we are a one man team? Just because Suarez gets most of our goals?

without him you wouldnt be in the top 4 let alone top...

-- Thu Dec 26, 2013 11:39 am --

Yeah. If Pellers doesn't shore up the defence and midfield for this one, I'll be watching from behind the sofa.

The way Henderson, Suarez, Sterling, and Coutinho are playing im worried about our defense big time. The 2 players we need to play in midfield have to be milner, and Ferna.. cuz no way in hell you can have garcia playing a 2 dm role..

Will you be a City fan or a Liverpool fan for this game?

ask him after the final whistle..
