Liverpool v United result

Didn’t really notice who the Rags were actually playing yesterday, just enjoyed the ball constantly going into the back of their net.

There were 7 goals in 52 minutes of play a goal every 7.5 minutes, you didn’t have time to enjoy each of them before another was scored.

The referee stopped booking Rags (disgraceful) out of sympathy and most of their team laid down tools. They were shown up for the rag-bag crew they really are. Seeing a florid faced Slur in the stands and watching a squirming Neville also added to the total enjoyment,

All in all a nice weekend and not bothered about Arsenal at all, good luck to them.

It will be a funny result yesterday and today but that’s it.

It’s not like we beat them 7-0 is it? If anything it makes me a bit more pissed off at the way we let United off in the 6-3 game. If we’d gone for it that day, I mean really gone for it until the end, we really could have scored ten. United had gone at 4-0 but unlike Liverpool we still had 35 minutes to go when we’d scored 6. We could have demolished them that day.

And it doesn’t take away from the fact that Liverpool are pretty much the exact same level of cunts that United are (they're worse in some respects) so I’ll take no long term joy in it. I despise them equally. I’d have taken the same level of joy if United had beaten Liverpool 7-0 in the last few season when Liverpool were close to us. Christ, I’d even have laughed my head off if United had won 7-0 yesterday.

I hate the scousers more than the Rags. Although I grew up hating united too. But recently the dippers have been a pain in the arse and I hate seeing them win

It doesn't take a 'mauling' of the Rags to provide me with great pleasure - every time they lose the ball, concede, lose a game! Anything more pleasurable in a football sense. I often think its a toss up which provides greater pleasure - a City goal or a Rag concession! I suppose they're just in different categories of glee!
