Liverpool vs United - what result suits us best?

Draw for me, a win for either team will be a big morale boost for the winning team. A bore draw will have them questioning their own abilities and also throw in a blatant penalty for Liverpool being turned down by VAR just to watch Klopp's head explode.

Would be nice to see a lot of VAR shit going on , with Klippety exploding on the touch line and sent to the stands wouldnt wish injury on any players but a few hamstring and calf injuries would be nice , at least four penalties and Spit and Ratboy having a straightener in the commentary box whilst Tyler proclaims the game of the century has not lived up to expectations.
Gonna be amusing seeing who can get their tongues furthest up each team's arse on Sunday

This is one of the rare times where any result will give us some kind of satisfaction, but feelings aside I think a draw will best suit City. This season many teams will still be in contention to win it, so don't underestimate United they might just have enough hunger to cross the line first.

Looks like this thread is screaming for a poll.

Whatever the result, it will be a positive for us as one of, or both, of the 2 teams ahead of us are guaranteed to drop points.

It only counts however, if we get 3 points vs palace. If we fail to win, it will either be a case of lost ground or a missed opportunity.

I’ll be watching the game but our result is far more significant than the earlier game.

Liverpool win

I've gone from a draw to a Liverpool win overnight. We can still go top on Wednesday and United's 11 match unbeaten run in the League goes out the window.

Then a United win in the cup, so we can knock them out at some point.

i want them both to lose but that's not possible so a draw or liverpool to win never want manure to win

Popcorn time! Not bothered who wins, I’d like plenty of controversy, lots of VAR F-ups, a diabolical refereeing performance, couple of red cards, copious yellows, and it all to spill out into the press for the next week where we see a repeat in the cup game, by the end of next weekend the press would of been all over both clubs for two weeks, meanwhile we’ll go about our business picking teams off 1 & 2 nil, reserving energy, building Sergio’s fitness & getting other key players firing, by the time our fixture with the dips arrives we’ll be five or six clear, with a fully fit squad & be happy to lay eggs on a nil nil, come May when they play again I’m sure we will (begrudgingly) be rooting for one of em, but for now I’d be happy with them smashing the crap out of each other :)
