Strange team, Liverpool. If anyone has pictures of Gerrard, Alonso, Carragher and Finnan (when at Liverpool), they all look as though they're related. Weird thought!

alonso had been quoted on skysports website as being very unsure about his liverpool future...despite benitez saying he wants to keep him, he defo wants out....we've been linked but am defo that he'll go back to spain

Is Reina better than Given. Arguably but i prefer Given. I'd add Carragher despite his age he'ss still a top notch defender better than any we have. Torres and Gerrard obviously. They wanted Barry to replace Alonso so I'll stick with Barry. Marerano is good but i'm happy with De Jong and expect him to grow in the next season. Agger maybe, and Benayoun as a squad player
