She's absolutely terrible. Totally skewered by Burley on the pay cuts for public workers issue. It was a clear demonstration that bare faced lying comes naturally to her, and even in the face of overwhelming evidence that she's bullshitting she continues to brazen it out and blame everyone else.

Compared to her Sunak seems almost credible and he's appalling as well.

It’s one thing to admit that you are not a slick performer, fair enough, but if that is the case, then you’d better make sure you are on the ball in terms of policy and detail. Alas, Truss is showing that all she can do is trot out a series of meaningless sound bites that don’t stand up to any scrutiny. There are 9 ‘public’ hustings left this month so plenty time for her to squander her lead.
